Constance Lee Caudle Garneau, 69, Midland, VA died on January 30, 2010 at her home after a long illness.
She was born October 22, 1940 in Washington, DC, the youngest of four daughters born to the late Fred and Helen Caudle, formerly of Arlington, VA and Columbia, SC. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister- Helen Lessard, grandchild- Constance and her two great grandchildren, Brenna and Brantley.
Constance was a devoted, loving, and selfless wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a graduate of Wakefield High School in Arlington and worked as a medical secretary and was a volunteer extraordinaire.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years- Jeremiah “Jerry” Garneau; five daughters- Toni Garneau (Bill) Barber of Manassas, VA, Teri Garneau (Randy) Newsom of Rixeyville, VA, Susie Garneau of Midland, VA, Jeannie Garneau (Dave) Simpson of Midland, VA and Christy Garneau (J. D.) Williams of Midland; ten grandchildren- Kevin, Craig, Sammy, Caitlan, Jess, Cody, Alyson, John, Mary Cate and Gracie; two great grandchildren- Taylor and Morgan; two sisters- Beverly Cramer of Delaware and Jo Ann Boone of Tennessee.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA with a recitation of the Rosary beginning at 8:45PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, Feb. 5 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Warrenton. Interment at Bright View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church’s Building Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice.
