Adam “Whitey” Yamber Sr.
Adam “Whitey” Yamber, Sr., 76, of Warrenton, died on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Fauquier Hospital.
He was born in Windber, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1933, son of John and Mary Yamber. Mr. Yamber was an auto body technician and had worked for Vienna Autobody, Country Chevrolet and Waterloo Motors. He enjoyed hunting, working on cars and playing the accordion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jeanette A. Yamber and three children; Linda S. Landon and her husband, Robert of Centreville, VA, Carl S. Yamber and his wife, Trisha of Roberta, GA an Adam Yamber Jr. and his wife, Teresa of Gainesville, VA. Also surviving are two brothers, John Yamber of Baltimore, MD and George Yamber of Windber, PA, six grandchildren; Tom Lewis, Theresa Wyatt and her husband Chuck, Holly Punches and her husband, Jeremy, Heather Hunt and her husband, Donald, Carrie Deckelman and her husband, Mike and Stacy Biller and her husband, Mike. Additional survivors include eight great-grandchildren; Tommy, Bobby and Caitlyn Lewis, Cody and Ashley Wyatt, Madison and Riley Deckelman, Ethan Biller, Jason Ngo, Hailey Hunt and another great-grandson, Baby Punches is expected to join the family soon. Mr. Yamber also leaves many dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton where services will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at 11 AM. Interment Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
